12 Tumblrs of Blogmas
On the 12th and final day of Blogmas our Tumblr Dashboard gave to us Erica Cerulo. Erica is the co-founder of Of A Kind and partner in crime of yesterday’s Tumblr Claire Mazur. A former editor at Details and Lucky Magazine, Erica knows versatile style. Erica can rock a menswear inspired look like Utility Cargos (we bet she might pair it with Metallic Flat) just as well as an elegant black dress like our Cascade One Shoulder Dress. We loved the knit dress she is wearing here and are excited to offer a Striped Knit Dress very much like Erica’s this winter. And of course, because friends share clothing we think she would look fantastic in the Chic Biker Jacket we featured with Claire yesterday.
We hope everyone enjoyed our 12 Tumblrs of Blogmas series. If you missed any please check our archives! You can find all of our featured bloggers here.

12 Tumblrs of Blogmas
We are coming to the end of our 12 Tumblrs of Blogmas series. Our 11th blogger Claire Mazur is the co-founder of Tumblr’s first fashion boutique Of A Kind.
Each week, they select one designer whose work they love to feature on the site. They share a series of stories about that designer—inspirations, personal life, taste, training, along with a limited-edition piece designed exclusively for Of a Kind.
Claire spends her days on the go. Whether she is meeting with a new designer, working with a developer to update the Of A Kind website, or rushing to get to a party Claire she always looks pulled together. We picked versatile but fashion forward Ann Taylor pieces that we think go with Claire’s busy schedule including a pair of high waisted trousers, our chic biker jacket, a stylish polka dot dress and of course a killer pair of booties.

Our 12 Tumblrs of Blogmas would not be complete without showcasing the inimitable Alexis Hyde. This Los Angeles based art world dynamo is the curator for Ann Taylor’s Art She Said project and blogs personally at Hyde or Die. Her blog is one of Tumblr’s most followed art blogs. She covers art news as well as pop culture and style making it a fun and eclectic read.
We think Alexis would rock our Chic Biker Jacket. Put the jacket over really great little black dress, finish off the outfit with our Pilar Bootie and you have an outfit that works just as well at edgy art gallery opening as it does at a fancy museum benefit.

On the 9th Day of Blogmas our Tumblr is Soraya Darabi. This talented young entrepreneur is the co-founder of Foodspotting a visual guide to good food and where to find it. Her personal Tumblr “My Life In Beta” is a compilation of her own experiences, great food and her own chic personal style. It can be a challenge dressing as a young professional woman and Soraya does it with ease. We imagined Soraya in timeless pieces like silk blouses, pencil skirts, wool coats, T-Strap Pumps, and of course a few nautical stripes.

On the 8th Day of Blogmas our Tumblr Dashboard gave to us the lovely Anna Grimm. This Brooklyn blogger shares a mix of personal photographs, daily insights and weekly nail art on her Tumblr where she informs readers that “She Likes The Internet.” A master of vintage shopping (she has written for a variety of sites on how to find great bargains and fun styles on auction sites like eBay) her style has a tomboy flair. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t polished. We love the idea of her wearing a classic silk blouse over a pair of relaxed utility cargos. And nothing says both feminine and practical like a great cardigan and our classic camel coat.

Our 7th Tumblr of Blogmas is writer & stylish Elizabeth Spiridakis. Her blog Feels Like White Lightning is a mix of personal styling posts, fashionable events and pop culture moments. And because she has such a firm grasp on a given cultural moment she informs her readers that “of course I have a Tumblr.” Her personal style is bright, fun and bold. Our Ann Taylor picks for Elizabeth have a focus on flair. We think our red Event Coat is a perfect topper for a going-out piece like our Winter Rose Dress or our Wind Swept Skirt. And given her love for prints we our Leopard Print Jacket is a perfect choice for Elizabeth as well.

Sara Zucker is so much more than your average personal style blogger. Her namesake Tumblr is a funky mix of designer collection reviews, party reports, and product collages. One of our favorite features is “Ask Me Anything” posts where she takes questions from readers on styling topics.
Her always adorable GPOYWs (that is Tumblr speak for Gratuitous Picture of Yourself Wednesday) show off a laid back and cozy style that we always find ourselves referencing when we want a chic easy look. Because who doesn’t love a really great sweater? But we suspect from a few party photos we have seen from Zucker that she can work advanced style as well. We would love to see her in our lace One Shoulder Cascade Dress. Perhaps with some leather driving gloves? We also happen to know that Zucker has been looking for her perfect camel coat for sometime so here’s hoping we can convince her to try our famous Camel Coat as well.

The fourth Tumblr of Blogmas is Ann Taylor (and sister LOFT) favorite Jessica Quirk of the hugely popular blog What I Wore. Jessica is a full time style blogger based in Indiana where she lives her lovely husband (and photographer) Adam. Her accessible every-woman style is always fun and approachable, so much so that her blog is being turned into a book by Random House called Four Seasons, One Closet, Endless Recipes for Personal Style.
Jessica excels at prints and layering. She has mastered polka dots, stripes, and even animal prints in a way we can only hope to emulate. One of our favorite pieces that Jessica has been playing with this fall is a big chunky layering sweater like our Chunky Sweater Jacket. When you live in a cold state like Indiana having a cuddly sweater you can layer into any outfit is definitely what we would call a recipe for success.

On the third day of “Blogmas” our Tumblr Dashboard gave to us Rebecca of The Clothes Horse! Rebecca blogs more formally at her Blogspot blog “The Horse Horse“ but we like her Tumblr side project just as much. The stunning redhead from Virginia has such an easy confident style it is hard not to find yourself scrolling through her archives the first time you read her blog. Her Tumblr showcases her own looks as well as other style blogger looks that catch her eye. She believes that fashion is about feeling at ease in your clothing and we couldn’t agree more with her personal style philosophy.
That philosophy translates into some very chic outfits. We were inspired by Rebecca to pull out our Leopard Print Jacket today. We think her fiery mane looks amazing with bold animal prints but it’s also a piece that can work for almost anyone looking to have a little Rebecca style confidence! Other Rebecca inspired styles we are excited to try include our Silk Layered Skirt, Lace Ballet Flats and our cozy Knit Gator.
