How to Wear Animal Prints from Work to Weekend

How to wear animal prints from work to weekend

It’s a jungle out there. Since 1947, when Christian Dior introduced leopard print on the runway, the trend has never faded from season to season. From 80s grunge to Hollywood glamour, animal prints are a staple in every woman’s closet. The trend is no stronger than in fall, when our neons and pastels get swapped out for jewel tones, camels, and graphic black and whites. Our fall collection (which is already starting to take up space in our closets) is bursting at the seams with animal motifs – from prints and patterns to whimsical animal inspired jewelry. Here are our tips for how to wear animal prints from work to weekend.

The ultimate everyday essential, our Town Tote is the perfect bag for a working woman. Big enough to hold a pair of heels or loafers, an iPad, and your go-to beauty products to get you through the day, yet still polished enough to throw over your shoulder for after-work drinks.

Here’s a little secret: we’re known to stash a pair of heels or two under our desk. Paired with tailored black ankle-length trousers and a striped button down, our Eryn Leopard Print Haircalf Captoe Heels are the perfect height for a day of running from meeting to meeting. While black Perfect Pumps are still a must, these heels are our go-to when we want to spice up our weekday wardrobe.

Our Floral Leopard Jacquard Topper is not for the faint of heart. Throw on this statement making topper with a leather skirt and silk white camisole for a night out on the town.

We love our adorable Kissing Fox Sweater for Sunday brunch, worn with with a pair of cuffed boyfriend jeans, comfy menswear-inspired loafers and a navy crossbody bag.

When we’re in the mood for a simpler alternative to a statement necklace, we opt for delicate gold jewelry with a pendant charm. A casual movie night with the family calls for jeans, a striped tee, and this playful Fox Head Necklace (popcorn not included)!

We can’t get enough of our Tassel Pouch; stashed in a structured tote to hold a metrocard and lip gloss or worn as a chic clutch with a classic LBD, its versatility is endless. It’s a great way to introduce animal print into your wardrobe if you’re not ready to make such a wild statement.
