Is there anything better than a slouchy sweater? I’m always throwing one on over skirts, dresses, cut-offs and bathing suits in the spring and summer. I came across this one at Ann Taylor and immediately fell in love. The fabric is soft and light-weight, the crisp white color is so chic, and it’s the perfect effortless wardrobe essential.
I was lucky enough to partner with Ann Taylor and pay their store in Princeton, NJ a visit for a dream day of styling their new spring collection. After snapping up the open-stitch sweater mentioned above, my eye gravitated towards the skirt I’m wearing in their petites section. The vegan leather makes this flared silhouette feel edgy and the high waist makes my legs look 10x longer.
On the accessory front, I’m all about a single-strap sandal. The heels I’m wearing are sleek and minimalistic, but the snakeskin texture makes a statement. The nude tone also elongates my 5-foot-3-inch frame.
The stacked rings are to-die-for (I wanted to buy three sets and wear them all at once!). I added the crystal necklace for understated sparkle because it blends well with the sweater.
The clutch I’m carrying was featured on Lana Jayne last week. It’s a great size for going out. I’ll be styling one more Ann Taylor outfit for a post next Thursday focused on dressing for petites, so stay tuned!
