Cirque du Soleil: Dralion

After twelve years of constant touring and wowing seven million people around the world, Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion is still going strong. In fact, it’s been revamped from the big top version and is now ready for arenas with all new death-defying feats. This show’s name come from the symbol of the East, the dragon, and the symbol of the West, the lion. With firm roots in Eastern philosophy and the usual quest for peace and harmony between humans and nature as its central theme, this show features amazing feats involving aerial hoops, bamboo poles, juggling, trampolines and a rotating chair sequence that has to be seen to be believed. Cirque du Soleil brings out the childlike wonder in all of us, so make sure you carve out a few hours to satisfy your inner kiddo this summer.

Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion is playing every night from July 27th to July 30th at Dr. Pepper Arena. Check out Flavorpill for more information on this event and all the other cultural happenings in your city.
