Style for Students
Congratulations to this semester’s winner of our Style for Students Contest - Kelsey MacLeod from the University of Chicago!
Q: What great fashion advice for interviews (and for every day) have you learned from Ann Taylor that you would want every woman to know?
A: I would say it’s always wise to err on the side of conservative: business casual in the most traditional sense is usually the best option. Although decorum and attire for interviews can be different across different fields, it’s important to express who you are with the clothing you wear; this goes for professional and every day life. If you have a fun quirky side, show it off with a statement piece, and if you like a more classic look, maybe try displaying with a classic style shirt with a bright print.
